The biggest challenge of Ruben Amorim’s time as Manchester United’s head coach is upon him on Wednesday when the Red Devils visit the Emirates.
Hopes are high this Wednesday after Manchester United put on a show at Old Trafford against Everton.
Ruben Amorim led his side to a 4-0 thumping of the Toffees with Joshua Zirkzee and Marcus Rashford both scoring braces in the game.
Rashford’s performance wowed the brilliant Andre Onana, while Zirkzee was heralded as he finally put in a performance of a United striker.
Now, all eyes are on Arsenal ahead of Wednesday’s trip to the Emirates – in which United will be without both Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo.
This leaves United and Amorim with some big decisions to make regarding team selection.

How Manchester United could line-up against Arsenal
Amorim won’t have the luxury of playing his strongest line-up against Arsenal due to injuries and Leny Yoro is probably only fit enough to make the bench. Meanwhile, Luke Shaw is also reportedly injured for the game which is a big blow.
There will likely be some rotational changes to the line-up too given the quick turnaround before Saturday’s game at the City Ground.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Here is our predicted line-up for Wednesday night’s game.
Andre Onana
There is little debate over the starting goalkeeper position right now, with Andre Onana one of the best in the business right now.
Noussair Mazraoui
Noussair Mazraoui has found himself at home as a right-sided central defender under Amoirm, even winning the United’s Player of the Month for November.
Matthijs de Ligt
In the middle of the back three, we imagine Matthijs de Ligt will once again start as he has been key in helping the back three settle together.
Harry Maguire
Replacing the suspended Martinez, we predict will be Harry Maguire, making his first start under Amorim, alternatively 16-year-old Godwill Kukonki is another option.
Amad Diallo
Amad Diallo has been a revelation under Amorim thus far, assisting three goals in two starts. This includes two against Everton as he continues to make the right wing-back role his own.
Manuel Ugarte
After being rested at the weekend, we expect circumstances should mean Manuel Ugarte starts in midfield for United.
Casemiro
Partnering with Ugarte, we think will be Casemiro with Mainoo suspended. Additionally, this pair would give United the most defensively solid duo against a tough Arsenal midfield.
Diogo Dalot
Another position which looks nailed on right now is Diogo Dalot who has been a regular on the left in the absence of a natural option.

Bruno Fernandes grabbed two assists against Everton and will hope to do the same when facing Arsenal. Amorim confirmed Fernandes will be fit during his pre-match press conference.
Marcus Rashford
Marcus Rashford is catching fire under Amorim with three goals in three. Due to this and his strong record against the Gunners, he surely starts ahead of Alejandro Garnacho in this one.
Rasmus Hojlund
Joshua Zirkzee matched Rasmus Hojlund’s brace against Bodo/Glimt, but we imagine with rotation, it will be Hojlund’s turn to start here against Arsenal.
