Carney Chukwuemeka has been offered to Rangers by Chelsea as Enzo Maresca would rather keep Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in January, according to TBR Football.
The online outlet reported on 3 December that the Blues are working hard to find a January move for the 21-year-old, with loan and permanent deals being considered.
The Gers and Old Firm rivals Celtic have been offered the chance to sign the central midfielder, who moved to Stamford Bridge for £20million from Aston Villa in 2022.
The Chelsea head coach would rather lose the England Under-21s international as he has no interest in losing summer signing Dewsbury-Hall.
For his part, Chukwuemeka is open to leaving Stamford Bridge early in the New Year to find regular first-team football.

The young midfielder was a highly rated talent coming through the Northampton and Villa academies but things have never quite worked out in senior football.
Former Light Blues boss Steven Gerrard handed the Englishman the majority of his starting opportunities for the Villans before securing a move to Stamford Bridge.
Since moving from the Midlands to West London, Chukwuemeka has made just 31 appearances in all competitions and is yet to feature in the Premier League this season.
A move away from Stamford Bridge would make sense for all parties and Philippe Clement could prove to be the beneficiary.

This would add dynamism to his midfield in a similar sense to the likes of Connor Barron and Mohamed Diomande in the Gers’ side.
If a loan deal can be agreed, there is little risk for the Ibrox hierarchy, who could benefit from the addition of the Chelsea man to their side.
