Everton Predicted Lineup Vs Wolves In Crucial Relegation Battle Match
How Everton Have Lined Up
Manager Sean Dyche has kept very similar lineups throughout this season, in part due to availability and the lack of squad depth. Jordan Pickford has started every game in the net, as has centre-back James Tarkwoski. Jarrad Branthwaite has returned to partner the former Burnley captain, starting the last three matches. Vitaliy Mykolenko is the only fit natural left back in the squad and has started when fit. Ashley Young has had a run of games on the other side in defence, partly because of injuries to different options.
Idrissa Gueye is a mainstay in the double pivot at the base of the midfield. Alongside the Senegalese international has been Abdoulaye Doucouré, with Orel Mangala having sporadic starts in his absence.

Dwight McNeil is now being deployed in an attacking midfielder role. On the left, the ever-exciting Iliman Ndiaye has started, often floating inside to make way for McNeil on his more natural left side. Loanee Jesper Lindstrom has started on the right of the midfield for the last month with Jack Harrison falling out of favour.
Guinea-Bissau striker Beto started in his first Premier League match of the season vs Manchester United. Dominic Calvert-Lewin made way for the former Udinese attacker, after scoring just the two goals in his 12 starts.
Everton’s Recent Form and Tactics
Everton are coming off a 4-0 loss, just their second in nine league games, against Manchester United. It was their fourth consecutive game without a goal, continuing their ongoing scoring problems that caused issues last season.
But they face a Wolves defence that have conceded the most goals in the league. A demoralising 32 goals have hit the back of their net, five more than any other team. They only have one clean sheet this season. This match could see Everton turn around their attacking form.

The Toffees focus will be on Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian has been a bright spark for a team that is currently in the relegation zone. Shutting down the former Atletico Madrid forward should neuter the Wolves attack, but will prove to be a difficult task.
Everton Injuries To Consider
In this week’s press conference Dyche outlined the availability of multiple players. Armando Broja should be available for selection in this match but will be unlikely to start. Youssef Chermiti has had minutes in the U21’s but isn’t fit enough to feature for the first team as of yet. Midfield duo James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam are both unavailable for the foreseeable future.
