Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli.
The 23-year-old is reportedly an expendable asset for the Italian club and he has been offered around to multiple European clubs. According to TBR Football, Tottenham have been made aware of his availability, and it will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for him.
The midfielder is valued at €35 million and Tottenham certainly have the financial resources to afford him. They could use more quality and depth in the middle of the park and the 23-year-old Italian international would be the ideal acquisition for them. They have been linked with multiple midfielders recently.
He is capable of slotting into the role of a central midfielder as well as a box-to-box midfielder. He will add defensive cover, control, and drive to the Tottenham midfield.
The opportunity to play in the Premier League could be quite exciting for the 23-year-old as well. He would get to test himself in English football and regular game time in England could accelerate his development. Tottenham are an ambitious club with an exciting project and they are likely to be an attractive destination for the player.
The likes of Manchester City and Aston Villa have been made aware of his availability as well. It will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for the player in the coming weeks.

The midfielder is highly rated in Italy and former Italian international Andrea Pirlo once claimed that Fagioli could develop into the new Pirlo in Italian football.
Pirlo said to GDS: “He knows how to do everything and is a cornerstone of Juve and has the qualities to excel in directing play. He could be the new Pirlo, but better remembered as Fagioli.”
His development has not gone according to plan after he missed a significant amount of matches due to his involvement in a betting scandal. A fresh start would be ideal for him and moving to Tottenham could give him the opportunity he needs right now. It remains to be seen whether the North London club can get the deal across the line.
