Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure should be dropped in favour of Orel Mangala for the Premier League clash with Wolves on Wednesday.
The Blues host the Wanderers at Goodison Park on 4 December in a relegation six-pointer after the 4-0 defeat to Manchester United last time out.
Sean Dyche’s side find themselves just two points above their opposition and could replace them in the final relegation spot with a loss.
Doucoure not good enough against Man United
The Mali international was as poor as any other Blues player in the defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday (1 December).
His form has been up and down so far this season in his 11 league appearances and against the Red Devils he struggled both offensively and defensively like the rest of the term.

The manager needs to show that poor performances will not be rewarded and Doucoure should be dropped for his display.

Defensively, he failed to win the only tackle he attempted, made one interception and three recoveries in a poor display.
In terms of duels, he won both of his aerial duels for a 100 per cent success rate but it was on the ground where he struggled, winning just two of six attempted duels, for a 33 per cent success rate.
Mangala has impressed in his 10 appearances so far, with five coming off the bench, and he should be given a chance to start against Wolves with Doucoure’s poor form.
In other Everton news, James Garner could be set to give Dyche a huge boost in the coming weeks.
