West Ham United have made a shortlist to replace Julen Lopetegui after their loss to Leicester, with Edin Terzic considered a favoured option, according to The Sun.

The news outlet reported on 3 December that the Hammers’ hierarchy have their eyes on the former Borussia Dortmund boss, Graham Potter and Sergio Conceicao.

Lopetegui is under severe pressure after the Irons lost 3-1 to the Foxes in the Premier League on 3 December at the King Power Stadium.

While the Iorns prefer Terzic as their primary choice to take over from the Spaniard, there are doubts about whether he wants to come to the East London club.

The Hammers are hovering around the relegation zone and are on 15 points after picking up just four wins in the league this season.

MORE WEST HAM STORIES

Lopetegui was given the reins at the Irons after David Moyes left in the summer, and the former Sevilla head coach was handed plenty of quality reinforcements to his squad.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo, Guido Rodriguez, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug are all massive signings for the Irons, but the Spanish manager has failed to bring the best out of them.

West Ham have enough talent at their disposal not to be where they are right now, and the East London club’s fans are rightfully disappointed in Lopetegui and want to see him gone.

The Hammers’ performance against Leicester wasn’t their worst, and they could’ve arguably won that game if not for the heroics of Mads Hermansen.

Lopetegui will surely know that the Irons’ display will not matter, and it feels like the end is near for the Spaniard at the London Stadium.

It’s only a matter of time before David Sullivan will be forced to pull the trigger on the 58-year-old.

In other West Ham news, Graham Potter is another manager in position to replace Lopetegui.
