Everton are “unlikely” to sack Sean Dyche, even if they lose against Wolves on Wednesday, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reports [4 December] that The Friedkin Group have started to look for replacements for the English manager, but Farhad Moshiri is behind him for now.
Goodison Park hosts Gary O’Neil’s team on 4 December, and even if the Blues are beaten, the 53-year-old is likely to remain in charge, albeit under serious pressure.
Wolves loss should be the end of Sean Dyche at Everton
The former Burnley head coach can’t continue at the Toffees with another loss at Goodison, especially if it comes against a direct rival in the bid for survival.
It’s essentially a six-pointer between O’Neil’s team and the Blues, and the home fans will not tolerate another disastrous performance.
The Goodison faithful have already had to endure two back-to-back draws against West Ham and Brentford, which showcased Dyche’s inability to break down opposition defences.
Everton fans’ misery was compounded by the 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford on 1 December as Ruben Amorim got his first win as Manchester United boss in the Premier League.

The English manager’s style of play is traditional, and he’s been tipped as the best man to help avoid the drop to the Championship, but things aren’t looking encouraging for the 53-year-old.
While Dyche has successfully maintained the Blues’ top-flight status in the past, the Englishman is the reason they are hovering around the bottom of the table yet again.
Moshiri is on his way out of Merseyside, and the supporters will have to bear any ramifications from Dyche prolonging his stay at Goodison.
His sacking should be a matter of when and not if.
In other Everton news, Friedkin’s arrival could change the situation around Jack Harrison’s transfer.
