West Ham United were beaten by Leicester City on Tuesday night, and Clive Tyldesley made a baffling claim about David Moyes midway through the game.
Julen Lopetegui‘s days at West Ham appear to be numbered now, after his inability to get a tune out of his squad since replacing David Moyes at the London Stadium.
The Hammers’ awful night in the East Midlands was summed up by an incredibly sad 17-second video clip showing Jarrod Bowen looking despondent towards the end of the Leicester clash.
These are trying times for the West Ham fans, and the players of course.
It seems like it will be a long and challenging season ahead of us now.

It’s quite incredible to think that the Hammers have actually got worse after making so many supposed top-class signings in the summer.
In my opinion, the blame should lay at the owners’ feet for not bringing in a manager capable of taking us to the next level.
Clive Tyldesley makes David Moyes during Leicester vs West Ham
The Scot worked wonders for the Hammers, but it was definitely time to go in the summer.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Moyes had taken us as far as he could.
It’s just such a shame that the Hammers board opted for Lopetegui to take his place, rather than someone like Ruben Amorim or Sebastian Hoeness.
During his commentary for Amazon Prime‘s production of Leicester vs West Ham (December 3rd, 8:59pm), Clive Tyldesley made an utterly bizarre claim about Moyes.

“Maybe the West Ham players need that Celtic scowl on the touch line. Be careful what you wish for or something like that?“
I’m sorry but what on earth was that all about?
Tyldesley suggesting that the players would have put in more fight for Moyes is so far wide of the mark it’s untrue.
Has he forgotten how poor we were during the second half of last season? Did he conveniently forget the amount of hammerings we were dealt under Moyes, and how the players completely threw in the towel?
The 5-0 away loss at Chelsea, 5-2 at Crystal Palace, 5-0 at Fulham and a 6-0 defeat at home to Arsenal for instance?
We were a shambles during the Scot’s final five months in charge of the club, and the football was utterly turgid.
And as for that ‘be careful what you wish for’ rubbish again…please just stop.
We wanted Moyes gone, but Lopetegui was the wrong replacement from the start.
Clive Tyldesley completely missed the point with his comments on David Moyes during the Leicester vs West Ham clash.
And hopefully the Hammers owners agree with my sentiment rather than Tyldesley’s.
