Jean-Clair Todibo and Julen Lopetegui were involved in a “heated” exchange during halftime as West Ham lost against Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.
West Ham were hammered 5-2 by The Gunners on 30 November and the report (4 December) states that Todibo “made clear his frustrations” to the Spaniard which escalated into a heated exchange.
Todibo was a notable omission from the Irons’ squad to face Leicester as The Foxes ran out 3-1 victors on 3 December, with it understood that the exchange was not the reason behind his absence.
It goes on to say that West Ham are still considering whether to sack Lopetegui.

There are two key factors to consider when determining how under fire a manager typically is.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
The first is when they lose supporters and the second is when they lose the dressing room. Lopetegui seems to have achieved both and his sacking is surely inevitable.
A victory against Newcastle not so long ago showed signs that the Irons had turned a corner but back-to-back hammerings against sides at different ends of the table diminished those hopes.
Just four wins from 14 is what the Hammers have achieved so far this season and under the Spaniard, it seems unlikely they’ll add many more to that tally if he remains in charge.

The Irons have lacked identity, passion and perhaps most importantly a clear way of playing. Players have looked lost under his stewardship and failed to perform as a result.
His row with Todibo looks to be the writing on the wall ahead of what would be a decisive few days.
