Everton manager Sean Dyche should drop Ashley Young for the clash with Wolves on Wednesday after his performance against Manchester United.
The Toffees were dismantled comfortably 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday (1 December) and the veteran was one of the worst performers.
The Blues could find themselves in the relegation zone with a loss to Wolves, so the Goodison Park showdown on 4 December is a six-pointer for Sean Dyche.
Ashley Young cann ot start for Everton v Wolves
The 39-year-old received some positive news on Monday (2 December), he will come up against his son when the Blues take on Peterborough in the FA Cup third-round.
However, his performances on the pitch have been mixed, although he has started 11 of the Toffees’ 13 league matches so far.

The other option at right-back is 23-year-old Nathan Patterson, who has been unlucky with injuries and does not seem to have the trust of Dyche.

However, Young was dismal against United, he created zero chances, had zero touches in the opposition box and was successful with just one of his seven crossing attempts for a 14 per cent success rate. [Fotmob]
Defensively, he won one of the two tackles he attempted, made two clearances and made four recoveries but did not make a single interception.
In terms of duels, he attempted four ground duels but won just two for a 50 per cent success rate.
Dyche must ring the changes in an attempt to beat fellow strugglers Wolves and ease the pressure around his job and Patterson should come in for Young.
In other Everton news, Abdoulaye Doucoure could be dropped for the match against Wolves after what he did v Manchester United.
