The Blues are on the hunt for their fourth win on the bounce in all competitions but the Saints, fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premier League table, stand in their way tonight. With just five points from their opening 13 matches, it has been a disastrous start for Southampton but Enzo Maresca believes this will be the "toughest" challenge of Chelsea's season to date.
The Blues, meanwhile, recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over Aston Villa over the weekend. A win tonight could see them move up to second-place in the table, depending on how Arsenal get on at home to Manchester United.
