Three-time league winning manager is literally waiting for West Ham to offer him a contract

Sergio Conceicao appears to be one of the main managerial targets for West Ham United.

West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui is under intense pressure at the London Stadium right now, and Sergio Conceicao is the perfect man to replace him.

Conceicao has already been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium.

The Hammers owners are apparently set for a board meeting this week to discuss Lopetegui’s future.

The general consensus is that the Spaniard will be sent packing imminently.

And then West Ham can start again with a new man at the helm.

Now the door seems to be wide open for West Ham to swoop in and appoint Conceicao.

Sergio Conceicao claim emerges and West Ham have to act

The 50-year-old could well be East London bound imminently.

A big new claim has just been made out in Conceicao’s home country.

According to a report from O Jogo (print edition December 4th, page 24), Conceicao is literally waiting for an offer to come in, with West Ham in the hunt for his signature.

The Hammers simply have to act now.

David Sullivan needs to pull the trigger before any other clubs come in for the 50-year-old.

Conceicao is an elite manager.

He won three league titles during his time in charge of Porto, and he excels when tasked with getting a group of players perfectly organised in every department.

The Portuguese showcased his quality on the biggest stage last season when he took Arsenal all the way to penalties n the knockout stages of the Champions League.

He is incredibly intense and would not accept anything less than 100% from every single player at the London Stadium.

West Ham would improve defensively if Sergio Conceicao was brought in to replace Julen Lopetegui, that goes without saying as far as I’m concerned.

Hopefully the Hammers board act before it’s too late.
