Alan Myers claims that he has heard nothing to suggest that The Friedkin Group are pulling out of the Everton takeover.
The Sky Sports news editor was posed the question by a fan on X, and there appears to be no speculation surrounding things falling apart.
It’s understood that the American group are on course to sealing the takeover sometime in December.
Via X, Myers wrote: “Not what I’ve heard.”
Everton fans have no reason to have any worries surrounding the takeover
The takeover by The Friedkin Group seems to be too advanced to fall through now.
Myers has claimed there’s no indication of the deal collapsing, and the group appears committed to finalising the acquisition of the club before the end of the year.

Given the investment already made and the regulatory processes involved, it’s highly unlikely that Friedkin would back out at this stage.
Everton fans should feel reassured by this stability.
However, the club’s future performance will also depend on strategic decisions post-takeover, including the potential change of management.
Sean Dyche’s tenure has been under scrutiny and with the new ownership, a managerial change might be on the horizon to steer the club towards a more competitive future.
Whether or not they pull the trigger right away or see how he works under the new administration, remains to be seen.
In other Everton news, Alan Myers has issued a claim on financial issues surrounding Sean Dyche’s sacking.
