Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium tonight with Mikel Arteta’s side looking to make it four wins from their last four games in all competitions.

With the Gunners currently nine points behind leaders Liverpool in the table, every game is seen as a must win game, despite there still being 25 matches left to play this season. Mikel Arteta’s side cannot afford to drop any more points over the Christmas period.

Arsenal blew West Ham away last time out and they’ll be hoping to do the same tonight at the Emirates, albeit against more difficult opposition. The Gunners have been handed a boost ahead of the fixture with both Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel arriving with the rest of the squad at the team hotel.

According to a few reports, both players will face late fitness tests to decide whether they can start the match at the Emirates Stadium tonight.

More positive news for Arsenal is that it appears Thomas Partey will be involved tonight after missing the game against West Ham with a muscle injury. The Ghanian has been seen with the rest of the squad at the team hotel.

Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiroi were both substituted during the game against West Ham last weekend. The Italian came off holding his thigh in the second-half, while Gabriel was replaced by Jakub Kiwior at half-time.

One of Arsenal’s biggest strengths is Gabriel and William Saliba’s partnership at the back, so having the Brazilian available will be a huge boost for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Arsenal have not lost a competitive match against Manchester United in 822 days and they’ll look to continue that feat tonight.
