Nottingham Forest boss makes three changes as he names his team to face Man City

Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Manchester City in tonight’s big Premier League clash.

The Reds go into the game at the Etihad Stadium looking to take advantage of their opponents’ dismal run of form. The reigning Premier League champions are winless in seven games in all competitions and are just one point above Forest in the table.

After back-to-back defeats, Nuno’s side returned to winning ways last time out. Chris Wood scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot to see off Ipswich Town at the City Ground.

Nuno makes three changes to his starting XI from the weekend’s win over the Tractor Boys. Alex Moreno, Nicolas Dominguez and Anthony Elanga return to the line-up as Neco Williams, Elliot Anderson and Callum Hudson-Odoi drop to the bench.

Moreno will take up the left-back spot and join Ola Aina, Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo in making up the defence ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Dominguez will partner skipper Ryan Yates in midfield.

Jota Silva keeps his spot in the XI for only his second Premier League start. He is likely to start on the right of a three-man attack behind striker Chris Wood, with Elanga on the left and Morgan Gibbs-White through the middle.

The substitutes’ bench will be made up of Carlos Miguel, Morato, Elliot Anderson, Taiwo Awoniyi, James Ward-Prowse, Neco Williams, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Eric da Silva Moreira and Ramon Sosa.

Forest: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Dominguez; Jota, Gibbs-White, Elanga; Wood. Subs: Miguel, Morato, Williams, Anderson, Awoniyi, Ward-Prowse, Hudson-Odoi, Moreira, Sosa.
