Man Utd have confirmed their line up for the Premier League fixture against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

United have named six changes from the starting line up that defeated Everton 4-0 at the weekend, with Amad Diallo and Marcus Rashford both dropping out of the side after impressive individual performances. Two of the changes are enforced with Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo both suspended against Arsenal, while Casemiro and Joshua Zirkzee have also been replaced from the start at the Emirates.

Amad and Rashford could make the difference from the bench against Arsenal and Amorim explained they have both been left out of the starting line up for rotational purposes. “We have to rotate the team. It is impossible to play with the same team every game," the head coach said ahead of the match.

When quizzed on his midfield selection, Amorim explained Ugarte had been selected to give his side energy in a key area of the pitch. He added: “My thinking is with the ball. Thinking of having the ball in the half space. They both can run which is important for today.”

Leny Yoro has been named on the bench for the first time since he joined the club in the summer, while academy youngster Godwill Kukonki has also been included in the matchday squad for the first time.

United XI vs Arsenal: Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Mazraoui; Dalot, Ugarte, Fernandes (c), Malacia; Mount, Garnacho, Hojlund.

Subs: Bayindir, Kukonki, Yoro, Casemiro, Eriksen, Amad, Antony, Rashford, Zirkzee.
