Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium tonight with Mikel Arteta’s side looking to make it four wins from their last four games in all competitions. However the Gunners will have to do it without Gabriel.
With the Gunners currently nine points behind leaders Liverpool in the table, every game is seen as a must win game, despite there still being 25 matches left to play this season. Mikel Arteta’s side cannot afford to drop any more points over the Christmas period.
Arsenal blew West Ham away last time out and they’ll be hoping to do the same tonight at the Emirates, albeit against more difficult opposition. However the Gunners will have to do it without two key players in defence.

Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori are unavailable for Mikel Arteta’s side tonight, after both picked up injuries during the victory over West Ham last week.
The good news is Gabriel’s absence is thought to be precautionary and he’s expected to return this weekend against Fulham. Riccardo Calafiori failed a late fitness test ahead of tonight’s game which also suggests his injury isn’t too serious.
Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko start instead for the Gunners tonight.
Arsenal line-up: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.

The good news for Arsenal is that Thomas Partey is back fit and available after he missed the game against West Ham last week. The Ghanian partners Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the midfield tonight.
Arsenal’s win percentage drops dramatically when the centre-back partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel is broken. Hopefully tonight Jakub Kiwior can step up in the Brazilians absence.
