What Everton and Wolves fans could be heard chanting together speaks volumes

Everton and Wolves fans joined forces together in the first half at Goodison Park.

Sean Dyche‘s side returned to winning ways and move five points ahead of Wolves who sit in the bottom three, with a tough run of fixtures to come.

Everton finally found out how to put the ball in the back of the net against the Premier League’s worst defence, as Ashley Young and Orel Mangala sent the Toffees on their way.

It wasn’t a complete performances as we looked weak defensively at times, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin looked like a changed man, constantly chasing down balls and putting himself about.

But, he missed out on two goals as Craig Dawson netted a brace in his own net.

The Englishman was dropped last time out against Manchester United after being criticised by Everton fans for his performance against Brentford.

However, there was another talking point within the game, as James Tarkowski’s goal was disallowed, which brought about a chant from both sets of fans.

Everton’s VAR incidents this season in the Premier League

VAR continues to be the talking point in a number of games.

Beto scored at Southampton but was flagged offside, and Everton supporters weren’t too convinced as they called for it to be scrapped.

There was a penalty denied against Newcastle United when Dan Burn collided with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which was called into question also.

It’s clear that fans are getting fed up, but there’s no sign of a change in sight.
