Mikel Arteta is set to face the press after Arsenal's Premier League clash with Manchester United at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners got off to a decent start and had the ball in the net early through Gabriel Martinelli only for the offside flag to go up.
Thomas Partey then spurned a superb chance from a corner. This was to be the last event of note in a poor quality first half. Arsenal upped the ante after the break though and after chances for Martinelli and Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber eventually nodded them in front from a corner.
The Gunners had a few more chances from open play for the likes of Kai Havertz. It would take another corner to secure the three points as Partey's back post header bounced in off William Saliba's backside.
The result sees Arsenal gain two points on Liverpool after Arne Slot's side were held to a 3-3 draw by Newcastle.

**Declan Rice speaking to Amazon Prime about Arsenal gaining ground in the title race:**
> It's good but people get carried away with the title talk. I was involved in my first one last year. You need to be in and around it by February time. It's too early to be calling what's going on, Liverpool dropped points, what are they ten above? Oh seven, it's closer, but still a long way to go, we just need to keep believing in ourselves.

William Saliba outstanding tonight. Deserved the luck for his goal. Special mention for Jakub Kiwior too. A lot of overreaction to him starting but he stepped superbly in Gabriel's absence. Just what you need in a title-winning squad.
