Boubacar Kamara wowed Lucy Ward with his movement in the midfield before Morgan Rogers’ goal in the Aston Villa win against Brentford.
The Villans secured a much-needed three points at Villa Park on Wednesday (4 December) thanks to strikes from the England international, Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash.
The opener came after a positive spell for Unai Emery’s side and ended with Rogers curling a perfect effort into the top corner.
Despite the excellence of the strike, Ward picked out Kamara for his work on the ball in the build-up live on Amazon Prime.
She said: “It all started with Kamara. He picked the ball up, he’s done so well, he was a big part of that goal.
“Kamara decides to turn and all of a sudden the pitch just opens up. That’s what Villa are good at, that fast break. Morgan Rogers still had a lot to do but it’s a great finish past Flekken.”

The Frenchman has made his return from a long-term injury with ease and now appears to be one of the Villans’ most important players.
This was shown against the Bees with his performance which ultimately helped his side secure all three points for the first time in eight games.
In his 71-minute showing, the 25-year-old registered 40 touches while maintaining a stellar 100 per cent pass accuracy across his 32 attempts [FotMob].
Five of these passes were into the final third as he looked to get Villa on the attack as soon as possible by looking forward when he could.

This attacking awareness didn’t stop him from helping out at the back as he also chipped in with three clearances and six recoveries which won’t go unnoticed by Unai Emery.
Kamara also won two duels just to show off his combative nature in the midfield engine room which was so important to securing all three points. Finally.
