Manchester City secured a much-needed victory on Wednesday night following a dreary run of results throughout November.
Following on from Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield which gave City their fourth consecutive Premier League defeat, the Blues beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 to get December off to a winning start.
Goals from Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne put the champions 2-0 up at the midway point of the match on a wet evening at the Etihad Stadium.
The 57th minute then saw Jeremy Doku add a third goal for the home side, who then managed to see out the game with a clean sheet – something they’ve only done twice in the league prior to this match.
Right after one of the key moments in the game, a journalist took to social media to share one thing he noticed Pep Guardiola do on the touchline, which should interest many City supporters.

He said: “After celebrating Kevin De Bruyne’s strike, manager Pep Guardiola turned to the crowd and demanded they make more noise. He has asked for their help. He wants more.”
City gave the fans something to celebrate against Forest
After having to watch City lose six and draw one of their seven matches prior to the Forest win, the supporters at the Etihad finally had something to smile about and celebrate.
However, with Guardiola urging the home supporters to increase their celebrations when De Bruyne bagged the second goal of the game, this shows how important the City manager sees the Manchester club’s fan base in terms how acting as an extra boost for the players on the pitch.
Moving forward, with a much-needed victory now under their belts, hopefully City and their supporters will now get through their upcoming round of fixtures with even more goals and victories to celebrate.
