Barcelona president Joan Laporta has made it clear he’s very happy with Hansi Flick after the German made a strong start to life in Catalunya.
Flick’s side are currently top of the table in Spain and have enjoyed some impressive results so far, notably big wins over Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Laporta has admitted he did want to bring in Flick previously and is glad to have finally landed his man, even if he’s yet to learn Catalan.
> “Hansi Flick is going very well. From the German school that great coaches have emerged. I had already thought about him years ago but he was with the German national team,” he said.

> “I think that everything that is said is good, but it is better that he doesn’t speak it yet, yes, so he doesn’t fall into some trap that they set for him!”
