Dani Olmo has said Barcelona can “expect the maximum” this season and feels his team are going enough to challenge on all fronts.
Hansi Flick has his team at the top of the table in La Liga after a strong start, and the Catalans are also in good shape in the Champions League.
Barca will also discover their opponents in the third round of the Copa del Rey next week, and Olmo is feeling very confident.
“This season we can expect the maximum. We have started well. We have a team for the best, to compete. We are Barça. That’s why I’ve come,” he said at the Catalan Football Federation’s Gala of the Stars.
Olmo has been a hit since returning to Barcelona and has scored six goals already for Flick’s side. However, injuries have been an issue and have restricted the [Spain star to just six starts in all competitions](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/12/2/24311204/barcelona-having-to-manage-dani-olmos-minutes-due-to-risk-of-injuries).
