All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.

The Premier League season is quickly gathering pace after a round of mid-week fixtures, and top tier clubs will already be looking ahead to the weekend. Among the headliners for the mid-week action were Crystal Palace, who finally got that all-important second win, while West Ham lost again, sparking concerns over the direction of their season.

As attention turns to the weekend, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.

Glasner explains change

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has explained why Cheick Doucoure was brought off against Ipswich, playing down any injury concerns. He said: “It was because of the yellow card.

Lopetegui latest

TalkSPORT presenter Jim White has been speaking about Julen Lopetegui’s situation at West Ham with pressure building on the Spanish coach. “It’s my understanding this morning that there will be a board meeting in the next 72 hours,” White said.

“Whatever is decided will be a joint board decision but at the moment, there is no real way of telling how it is going to go. If it was going to tip one way, it would maybe be in the direction of time is up for Lopetegui.”

Manchester United star Luke Shaw has confirmed his latest injury setback, suffering a reaction following his very recent return from an issue that has kept him out for much of the season.

"I've been through a lot of ups and downs but this has definitely been my toughest period," he said. "I'm absolutely devastated and it's extremely tough to come to terms with reality at this moment in time."
