Nottingham Forest caught Manchester City on a bad day as the Citizens ended their losing streak with a dominant 3-0 performance.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side have got themselves to blame after squandering a number of chances.
Nottingham Forest had 12 shots at the Etihad compared to Manchester City’s 17, but only three were on target from the Reds.
Ryan Yates is normally a reliable figure in the middle of midfield, but he put in arguably one of his worst performances and was slammed by supporters.
Worryingly, the defence is starting to leak goals too after such a promising start to the season, as that’s now nine goals conceded in four games.
However, Morgan Gibbs-White was in a positive mood after the game, as he posted a three-word message on his Instagram story.

Gibbs-White just hasn’t been himself since returning from injury, with his creativity levels down and a slight sloppiness to his play.
There’s no doubting his ability though, as when he gets it right he can single-handedly carry his team to victory, but he does need to improve.

Morgan Gibbs-White’s performance in numbers against Manchester City
Gibbs-White was substituted off after 63 minutes for Nottingham Forest, as Elliot Anderson came on to replace him in the attacking midfield role.
He had 45 touches, a passing accuracy of 80%, made four key passes, had one shot on target, won four out of his nine duels, lost possession 12 times and was offside once (SofaScore).
Nottingham Forest fans weren’t too pleased with Gibbs-White last time out against Ipswich, but every player goes through a rough patch and this is his.
Nuno does have other options with Elliot Anderson potentially coming in to start, as he performed fantastically in that advanced role during Gibbs-White’s absence.
