Chelsea defender Axel Disasi has been speaking about Jadon Sancho after his first goal for the club.
Both Axel Disasi and Jadon Sancho were on the scoresheet on Wednesday night as their side beat Southampton 5-1 at St Mary’s.
It was the latter’s first goal for Chelsea since joining the Blues from Manchester United in the summer.
Sancho was recently praised by Jason Cundy after his contribution to Chelsea’s 3-0 win against Aston Villa last weekend, and it has now been Disasi’s turn to laud the winger.

Axel Disasi on Jadon Sancho
For Disasi, Sancho has been fantastic for Chelsea since arriving at the club at the end of the last transfer window.
The Frenchman says he and the rest of the Chelsea team are really happy for Sancho following his first goal in a blue shirt.
Speaking to Chelsea’s official website after the win at St Mary’s, Disasi said: “It’s something he was waiting for, and we are all happy for him because since he joined us he has done a great job. He’s a great guy with a great personality so I’m happy for him.”
One of Chelsea’s other wingers, Noni Madueke, also managed to get his name on the scoresheet. Madueke has given credit to Enzo Maresca for his goalscoring form this season.

Should Jadon Sancho start against Tottenham?
Chelsea will be delighted with their result against Southampton, but they do not have time to celebrate.
Maresca’s men travel to north London on Sunday to take on Tottenham Hotspur, which will not be an easy game.
After making an impact from off the bench at St Mary’s, Sancho will be hoping to start in the London derby.
Given how productive he has been overall this season, he probably should. In the nine games that Sancho has played in all competitions for Chelsea, the 24-year-old has recorded five goal contributions.
Going into the game, Maresca has options. Pedro Neto could start on the left, for example, while Madueke retains his spot on the right.
Neto has been a great addition to Chelsea, according to talkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan.
However, after Wednesday, you get the feeling that Maresca could go with Sancho and Madueke for the Spurs match.
