Arne Slot will be hoping for an injury boost heading into the weekend's Merseyside derby after Liverpool dropped points against Newcastle. The head coach has only a few days to prepare for the Everton clash on Saturday.
A last-minute Magpies equaliser ruined Liverpool's efforts coming from behind at St. James' Park, allowing rivals to marginally close the gap at the top of the Premier League. The next opportunity to get back to winning ways comes around quickly - a Saturday early kick-off at Goodison Park against rivals Everton.
Slot knows he will be without one player for sure - Alexis Mac Allister, who picked up his fifth booking of the season on Wednesday to receive a one-game suspension.

Alisson Becker
Injury: Hamstring
"I feel I always have a big decision to make in every line-up I make. It's always big decisions you have to make as manager of Liverpool because we have so many quality players," Slot said before the Newcastle trip.
He added: "I think I was clear about our position in the goalkeepers a few weeks ago, but we are just waiting for the moment Alisson is completely fit because Kelleher is doing too well to put Alisson in goal if he is only 50%."
The Brazilian has been injured since October 5, though the coaching see no need to make any premature calls. It is for certain that he will take the starting spot once deemed 100 percent fit.
Possible return date: Unknown
Ibrahima Konate
Injury: Knee
Ibrahima Konate took a heavy blow to his knee from Endrick in unfortunate circumstances when beating Real Madrid last week - it truly was the last kick of the game. He required treatment, walked off in pain, then was seen at the Man City game four days later using crutches to walk.
After that game, Slot explained: "They will both (Konate and Conor Bradley) be out for a few weeks. I have said many times before, it is always difficult to judge how many weeks this exactly is because you can think in the beginning, ‘oh, probably going to be like this’, and the end stage of an injury process can always differ a bit. But they will not be in the team this week for sure, both of them."
Possible return date: Unknown
Conor Bradley
Injury: Hamstring
Another dampener on the Real Madrid game, after Bradley put in that stunning challenge on Kylian Mbappe then proceeded play out of his skin, he would go off with a hamstring problem.
As he mentioned him alongside Konate in Sunday's update, no timescale was placed on the Northern Irishman's return.
Possible return date: Unknown
Kostas Tsimikas
Injury: Ankle
Like Konate, the full-back was seen on crutches with a protective boot at the Man City match. Kostas Tsimikas had missed the previous two fixtures against Southampton and Real Madrid, and faces an undetermined amount of time on the sideline.
Possible return date: Unknown
Federico Chiesa
Injury: Unknown
Back on Merseyside, whilst Liverpool drew on Tyneside, they were handed aboost. Federico Chiesa played his first minutes since September, turning out for the club's Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup.
The Italian scored as well, making a good step back towards senior action.
Possible return date: December 7 vs Everton (A) - Premier League
Diogo Jota
Injury: Upper body
Diogo Jota went off in pain against Chelsea in mid-October and has been working his way back to fitness since. He and his partner shared the heartwarming personal news of welcoming a daughter into the world last week.
"He will be back one or two weeks after the international break," Slot previously confirmed. Pushing towards the end of that spectrum, he is line for a return soon.
