United lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Manchester United fans have been left furious after footage emerged of post-match scenes following their 2-0 Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

United conceded two second half set piece goals at the Emirates Stadium, with Jurrien Timber and William Saliba both getting on the scoresheet.

A much-changed side contained Mikel Arteta's side in the first half, but Arsenal opened up in the second half after their opening goal and secured a comfortable win.

There were encouraging signs for Ruben Amorim, particularly in terms of defensive improvements, but he will know that United still have considerable work to do.

After full-time, there was discontent among fans over a short clip that was uploaded to Twitter just minutes after full-time.

United players walked over to the away section to applaud the travelling supporters in north London - but one player was spotted walking in the opposite direction.

As the players clapped the supporters, the clip shows Marcus Rashford appearing to walk away from the travelling support and towards the tunnel area.

However, another fan who was present at the Emirates clarified that Rashford did in fact acknowledge the travelling support beforehand along with team-mate Harry Maguire - though fans still had differing views on the incident.

One wrote: "All the United fans criticising Rashford, he came over and clapped the fans with Maguire and they both left together. Get a grip."

Another said: "Maguire also wasn't in the clip but it was Rashford you guys saw."

But a third wrote: "Look at the number 10 in the background walking away towards the tunnel."

And a fourth said: "Poor look that."

Rashford was brought on after an hour at the Emirates after being replaced in the starting XI following Sunday's 4-0 win over Everton.

The 27-year-old scored twice in that fixture - the second time he has netted a brace in all competitions this season - but Amorim chose to rotate Rashford and other first team regulars, including Casemiro and Amad Diallo.
