Meanwhile, Fulham picked up a big point away at Tottenham, with the Cottagers just a point off the top half with a game in hand. Ahead of Sunday’s clash at Craven Cottage, we have rounded up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.

Harrison Reed - Out

Reed has undergone surgery, with Silva saying recently: “Yesterday, he got an injury in his knee, and he'll need surgery there. He should be out for 5-6 weeks.”

Tom Cairney - Out (Suspended)

Cairney was sent off against Tottenham and will miss this one through suspension.

Joachim Andersen - Out

Andersen has a calf strain and is not expected to return until next week.

Sasa Lukic - Out (Suspended)

Lukic got a yellow card last time out and has reached the yellow card limit. He will miss out here.

Jorge Cuenca - Doubt

Cuenca is a doubt after missing out last time out. Silva explained: “Jorge got a knock during the week and is going to be out of the game, too.”

Ben White - Out

White will likely be out until early spring after undergoing a knee operation. Mikel Arteta said: “Ben is going to be out for months. We had to make a decision in the last few weeks, unfortunately. It got to a point where we had to protect the player, and we decided to do the surgery.'”

Gabriel Magalhaes - Doubt

Gabriel missed the United game but could return this weekend. Arteta said after the game: “Gabi was a big risk to play today because he felt something against West Ham. Sunday is going to be a possibility with Riccardo as well, let’s see how he reacts. “

Riccardo Calafiori - Doubt

The same as above applies for Calafiori as he looks to return to action from a muscular complaint.

Takehiro Tomiyasu - Out

Tomiyasu remains out after suffering a setback in his knee injury. Arteta has said: “Tomiyasu is going to be out for a bit. He's going away for a few weeks to change his environment because it's been really tough for him. We're going to give him the best opportunity to try and unlock something, but I think we need to be patient.”
