Manchester United target David Raum has already opened the door to a move to the Premier League, admitting it would be a “dream and a big goal” at some point for his career.
[SportBILD](https://sportbild.bild.de/fussball/internationaler-fussball/manchester-united-ist-an-dfb-star-interessiert-6750289503ce23009ba63048) cover the full-back and say the 26-year-old has ‘good contacts’ in England, with Manchester United keen on him.
They cover information from Sky Germany, who say the left-back is very much on their list as Ruben Amorim looks at signings in the January transfer window and aims to fix what has been a long-standing problem for the club.
Raum is currently out with an ankle injury after undergoing surgery two months ago but returned and completed his first session on the pitch two weeks ago and so could return against Bayern Munich on December 20th.
Before then he had been enjoying a steady rise in Germany and Manchester United reportedly believe he could be an idea fit for Amorim’s system as he is comfortable in a back four or on the left-wing.
His agency already have good contacts in the Premier League as they represent the likes of Kai Havertz and Virgil van Dijk among their clients. This could help facilitate a move to Manchester United if they moved for him.
And Raum would certainly be keen, admitting the Premier League is in his sights despite playing down transfer rumours in the same comments.
“No, not at all. There is no discussion, nothing,” he said when asked about a transfer on the Phrasenmäher podcast.
“I can say that honestly and that’s why it’s not an issue for me at all. (…) But you know how it is in football. I feel extremely comfortable here and see my future in Leipzig.
“(But) I also said that the Premier League might be a dream and a big goal at some point.”
