Moises Caicedo and Jadon Sancho both wowed by the performance of‘amazing’ Chelsea player in 5-1 win

There were a heap of top individual performances from Chelsea players during their dominant 5-1 win against Southampton.

Enzo Maresca took the chance of rotating seven of his starting side ahead of last night’s game, however his decision was justified with the displays of some of the players who came in to his side.

Joao Felix backed up Maresca’s decision to chop and change, with maintaining fitness ahead of a busy festive period something that is no doubt at the front of his mind.

Chelsea generated the most expected goals of any away side in Premier League history last night, and will perhaps be disappointed that they could not add to their five goals.

Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo impressed by Noni Madueke vs Southampton

The player who missed the most big chances was Noni Madueke, who racked up four of those attempts in his seven shots before he was replaced.

Madueke’s goal really impressed Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink though, as he showed to the manager why it’s always a difficult decision to leave him out of the side.

It seems as if a number of the Chelsea players were equally impressed by the England international.

Moises Caicedo and Jadon Sancho were amongst the players who let Madueke know on his Instagram post just how well he played against the Saints last night.
