A top **West Ham** source has spoken directly with Claret and Hugh within the last few minutes to give some clarification on the speculation surrounding [Julen Lopetegui’s](https://www.claretandhugh.info/julen-lopetegui/) future.
The high ranking Hammers official told us moments ago that there is a meeting scheduled today but it will happen this afternoon. We were also informed that no decision has been made on Lopetegui’s future before going into the talks.
The direct quote from the very top at West Ham said: “Meeting of the board scheduled for later today. No decision made at this time”.
C&H of course asked the question as to whether the reports linking former Chelsea boss Graham Potter with the top job were true but the club were unwilling to comment.
It is not known whether Lopetegui will be asked to attend the meeting via video link and it may be that the board discussion is separate to talks the Hammers head coach was reported to have held this morning.
At this time the club are keeping their cards close to their chests, but we’ll endeavour to keep Hammers fans updated should any further information emerge.
