Sean Dyche has shared an early team news update ahead of the Merseyside derby clash between Everton and Liverpool.
The Toffees welcome their fierce rivals to Goodison Park on Saturday (7 December) looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins.
Dyche provided the latest on the squad at a press conference on Thursday (5 December), as shared by the club’s official website [5 December], including news on a senior ace who is a major doubt.
Michael Keane is “touch and go” due to a knee ligament injury, Dyche confirmed, while Youssef Chermiti, Tim Iroegbunam and James Garner are definitely out.
Dyche also said two players are carrying knocks on the back of the Wolves game, but did not go into specifics.

This Merseyside derby showdown with Liverpool could well be the last to ever be staged at Goodison Park, barring a meeting in the fourth round of the FA Cup or beyond.
Dyche got the better of Jurgen Klopp in this fixture last season and, on the basis of the 4-0 win over Wolves on Wednesday (4 December), there is no reason that cannot be repeated.
However, supporters do not need telling that the Wolves display was unlike anything we have really seen this season.
Fans are more used to seeing their side struggle to get going in matches, yet at the same time there is zero added motivation needed for a fixture of this magnitude.
You can never say the pressure is off going into a Liverpool game, but the win over Wolves was an almighty release of pressure.
The aim now is to make it back-to-back wins and put a buffer between ourselves and the relegation zone ahead of a continuation of daunting fixtures.

It sounds as though Dyche will be able to pick from all of his big-hitters, with no real injury concerns following the win against Wolves.
The line-up selected for that match worked a treat, so do not be surprised to see him go with an identical XI at the weekend.
