‘Top talent’: Bukayo Saka says Arsenal have a youngster coming through who could become a star

Arsenal’s academy has been the envy of many teams in English football in recent years.

In recent years, Arsenal have produced a number of top talents who’ve either gone on to become first-team stars or be sold for a serious profit.

Bukayo Saka is the crown jewel of Arsenal’s academy.

Saka is a world-class player these days, and as he grows in stature, he’s becoming more and more of a role model for the next generation.

Speaking to Amazon, Saka has been discussing Ethan Nwaneri’s journey into the Arsenal first-team, and he says that he’s trying to really help the young midfielder in his progression.

Saka says that he really believes in Nwaneri, and that he thinks this young man is headed to the very top of the game.

Ethan Nwaneri is headed to the top

Saka spoke about Nwaneri and his development.

The winger says that he’ll always make himself available for a chat with Nwaneri if he needs him.

Saka also said that Nwaneri is a top talent and he thinks he’s headed to the top of the game.

“You now have Ethan Nwaneri at the club, do you see yourself as a role model for him or someone he can come to?

“Yeah 100%, I feel I have to make myself available for him if he needs to speak to me. I try to do that of course. Ethan is a really top talent and I believe in him and I think he’s going to go to the top,’ Saka said.

Saka compared to Nwaneri aged 17

Saka is one of the best players in the world right now, and Nwaneri will be hoping to follow in his footsteps.

The scary thing is, Nwaneri is actually ahead of where Saka was at the same age.

Of course, Saka quickly kicked on once he’d turned 18, and he was an England international within 12 months, but the fact that Nwaneri is showing this much promise at such a young age is so exciting.

Development in football isn’t linear, so there’s no saying that Nwaneri will improve in the same way Saka did, but there is a chance that he’ll follow that path.

Nwaneri could be the next Cesc Fabregas according to some, and he does appear to be on the path to stardom at Arsenal.

It’s still very early days in Nwaneri’s career, but, as Saka says, this is a young man who is going to the very top.
