Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is on the brink after overseeing another awful defeat.
Wolves lost 4-0 against Everton on Wednesday night, and potentially, it was the club’s worst result of the season so far.
Shocking defending from set-pieces cost Wolves again, with Everton also just outplaying and outfighting Wolves at Goodison Park.
Today, there has been a lot of speculation about Gary O’Neil’s future.
But he took his press conference as usual earlier and seems set to be given the West Ham United game. The claim of O’Neil taking the West Ham game really angered Wolves fans earlier today.
But the feeling is that it’s a question of when and not if now with O’Neil, and Simon Jordan has explained why he’ll surely be sacked before much longer.

It is surprising for many that O’Neil remains in his position.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves fans have lost patience with O’Neil and believe the club now need to make a change. Some have felt that way for weeks.
O’Neil spoke after last night’s game and sounded defeated, and Simon Jordan today gave his thoughts about the Wolves manager.
Jordan has defended him in recent weeks, but even he now feels his time is up at Molineux.
He said: “He can’t describe himself as an irrelevant part, he’s the football manager. So he’s a product, he’s responsible for the core proposition.
“It feels like O’Neil needs a bit more spike in him.
“I like him, I think he’s a thoroughly decent bloke, but I think he’s probably done at Wolves. If you look at the fact his interview was very fragile and very self-effacing. There was no fight in it, no defiance, no robustness. There was a tacit acceptance that maybe the world has turned for him.”
“If he was my manager, I’d like to see him with a little bit of ‘Up yours attitude’.”
Jordan went on to say: “The reality is he’s struggling. They were brilliant the other day against Fulham, no one saw that result coming. But they were poor last night.
“The fact of the matter is, Gary, for me, needs to have more substance in interviews than that. But I think it’s because he recognises maybe his time has come.”
No way back for O’Neil
The fact even Simon Jordan is now suggesting O’Neil is done at Wolves really does say it all.
The former Crystal Palace owner has, in recent weeks, been keen to offer a more neutral view on O’Neil, believing he is not the only person to blame for Wolves’ struggles – which is true.
But now he seems to share the sentiments of Wolves fans everywhere that O’Neil must go.
It looks as though he will indeed be given the West Ham game which is just negligence from Fosun and Matt Hobbs at this point.
Even if Wolves win that game, the pressure will just be straight back on when Wolves next lose. So the club just need to bite the bullet now.
