Former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter has been “sounded out” by West Ham and Wolves, according to talkSPORT.
It appears both clubs are considering the 49-year-old as their next manager if they do decide to dispense with the likes of Julen Lopetegui and Gary O’Neil.
However, it appears that the Hammers will have the edge if they do want to hire Potter as Lopetegui’s replacement.

TalkSPORT claim that the ex-Chelsea boss has already made it clear that he would be “more interested” in taking over at the London Stadium.
What is the situation with Lopetegui?
After losing 3-1 to Leicester City and 5-2 to Arsenal in the space of a few days, the board are reportedly meeting today (Thursday 5th December) to decide the manager’s future.
It is not only results that make Lopetegui’s position increasingly untenable. Reports have also suggested that he has had a falling out with Jean Clair-Todibo, with it being claimed that the Frenchman will look to leave the Irons if the current coach stays in his post.
Lopetegui also had an argument with Mohammed Kudus at halftime against Brentford earlier in the season, indicating all is not well in the dressing room.
Are there any other candidates for the West Ham job?
If, as expected, Lopetegui is sacked, Potter is not the only coach likely to be considered. It is believed that the likes of ex-Benfica boss Roger Schmidt, Stuttgart manager Sebastian Hoeness and former Denmark head coach Kasper Hjulmand have already been approached.
Former West Ham assistant manager Edin Terzic and ex-Porto boss Sergio Conceicao are other names that could also be contacted over the coming days. Fans will be keenly anticipating the outcome of the board meeting to discover the fate of Lopetegui.
