Arsenal take lead against United for 25 year old Brazilian talent

Arsenal and Man United are both keen to sign Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha. The 25 year old has been in superb form since last season. Wolves are unwilling to sell him but will find it hard to reject offers from top clubs.

Matheus Cunha has been very good for Wolves since last season. He was able to score 14 goals and pick 8 assists last season in 36 games. This season he has scored 7 goals and picked 3 assists in 15 games so far.

Cunha can play effectively as a striker and and an attacking midfielder. In addition, he can play on left wing or even as a left midfielder. This versatility makes him a key asset for the team.

Wolves are very happy with Cunha and want to extend his contract. They want to tie him down until 2029 but the player is heavily linked with a move to top clubs. As of now he is being looked upon by many English clubs along with two Italian clubs.

The report further states that Arsenal have held some initial talks to understand the situation of Cunha. They have some important contacts which give them lead over their arch rivals United in the race to sign the Brazil international.

Wolves will find it verg hard to reject offers from any of United or Arsenal. Cunha will be viewed as an upgrade on Martinelli or can be used to replace Havertz. He can also prove as an important backup for Odegaard.

At United, the 25 year old will surely be an upgrade on Hojlund and Zirkzee. Both of these current United strikers have struggled this season and are very likely to be replaced in the next year.
