Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have both been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for November.

The Premier League have confirmed their nominees for the November Player of the Month award, and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard are both on the shortlist.
It’s a tough category this month, with a number of strong contenders. As well as Saka and Odegaard, Matheus Cunha (Wolves), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool), Joao Pedro (Brighton), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), and Yoane Wissa (Brentford) are in the race.

Saka scored twice and assisted three times in November, with those assists pushing him into double figures for the campaign. With Arsenal struggling for form at the start of the month, the 23-year-old made sure they’d found it by the end.
Odegaard was also a huge part of that resurgence, with three goal contributions of his own in three games (two starts). Arsenal simply look like a different team with the Norwegian back involved.
Cunha should perhaps be the favourite from the other contenders with his six goal contributions, particularly considering they were for struggling Wolves.
But you’d imagine Salah’s five goal contributions in three games for league leaders Liverpool will help him into the limelight. Particularly as he’s started December so well, which always helps in the vote (even if it shouldn’t count).
