Everton have been given a dig by talkSPORT duo Jason Cundy and Jamie O’Hara while discussing Wednesday night’s game with a Wolves fan on air.
The Toffees roared to a 4-0 win over Gary O’Neil’s hapless visitors, in a rare comfortable success at Goodison Park.
O’Hara and Cundy, live on talkSPORT [5 December, 00:21], joked with a Wolves fan that their predicament is made worse by the fact it was Sean Dyche’s Everton inflicting the damage.
“When Everton score four goals against you, you know something is desperately wrong. When they score one against you it’s a bad night,” Cundy scathed.
“If they beat you 1-0, you’re fuming,” added O’Hara.

Everton were well and truly caught cold by Manchester United to the sound of rage among the Toffees fanbase.
But Wednesday showed how quickly football can flip on its head – in this case 72 hours – by taking Sunday’s anger out on a Wolves side who have conceded at will all season.
Dyche will be relieved by the nature in which his team won the contest rather than proceeding to make the victory as difficult as possible, though will acknowledge none of his attacking players got on the scoresheet.

It was a welcome night of respite ahead of a massive Merseyside derby on Saturday [7 December], which could have dynamic implications on the league moving forward.
A horror run of fixtures beckons for the Toffees which made it all the more vital to secure the three points on Wednesday night. The resolve will be well and truly tested.
