AFC Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspur: Official line ups

This evening, at 20:15 GMT, Tottenham Hotspur will face AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, live on Amazon Prime, for match day fourteen of the 24/25 Premier league season - as they look to bounce back from the disappointing draws at home to AS Roma and Fulham at the end of last week.

For the difficultl task at hand tonight, Ange Postecoglu has opted for the following XI; Forster; Gray, Dragusin, Davies; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Johnson.

The gaffer makes three changes from the Fulham game on Sunday afternoon. In defence, Gray makes his first Premier League start for the club, with Porro given some much needed rest, after looking absolutely spent last weekend. It is not the first time the teenager will have played here this season, after featuring for England U21s in a Euros qualifier.

Up front, Solanke has recovered from illness, to face the club he spent five years at, before moving to N17 this past summer.

Despite such a good season in midfield, Kulusevski starts off the right here, though he did play well there in the win over Manchester City - albeit a different task to today. The skipper is named amongst the substitues for the first time this season.

Meanwhile, his opposite number, Andoni Iraola, in the home dugout, has gone with an XI of; Kepa; Smith, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kerkez; Adams, Christie; Semenyo, Tavernier, Kluivert, Evanilson;

The Tottenham Hotspur fan and often linked to the club Alex Scott, will miss the game for the hosts with injury, which unfortunately sums up his time on the South Coast since he joined from Bristol City in the summer of 2023. Academy graduate Adam Smith was born in Leytonstone, and was at the club between 2007-2014, before leaving for Bournemouth, where he has stayed ever since.

Spurs could go up to 5th with all three points here, though a defeat could leave them in 10th place, with the other game tonight – Brighton and Hove Albion vs Fulham – also having an impact on the league position of Ange’s side.

In this fixture last season, the Lilywhites managed to pick up a 2-0 win, in Ange's fourth game in charge, thanks to goals from Maddison and Kulusevski. Fingers crossed for a similar type of result tonight. That game was also Iraola's fourth game in charge of the Cherries. It is pretty safe to say that a lot has changed for both teams, since that game 15 months ago.

Big game, let's see what they've got.
