Manchester United have joined Chelsea in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, according to Bild.
The German ace has been in superb form for Borussia Dortmund this campaign and his sensational development has impressed several English clubs.
United and Chelsea are among those and they could go head-to-head for his signature soon. Nmecha had a difficult debut season with the Bundesliga giants.
However, his position in the team has changed under manager Nuri Sahin. The 24-year-old has amassed five goal contributions aside from his defensive involvements.
He has been brilliant from the defensive and central midfield roles and he could be a perfect understudy for Manuel Ugarte once Casemiro heads for the exit door.
Casemiro has fallen down the pecking order since last season and manager Ruben Amorim has welcomed the possibility of offloading him as early as next month.
Nmecha's current deal does not expire until the summer of 2028. Dortmund are expected to demand close to £50 million for his services.
