**Ken Aboh's sensational overhead kick grabbed the headlines as Norwich City's under-21s beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 in the Premier League International Cup.**
Former Manchester City striker Dan Ogwuru added to the goal late on, as an assured performance earned an impressive victory for the Young Canaries.
The hosts started strongly, Oscar Schwartau intercepting high up the pitch before setting up Elliot Myles in the box. His shot was blocked, but the Dane's influence continued to be the key factor.
A minute later he was the one shooting, latching onto Jaden Warner's fine pass before cutting in and seeing his shot deflected behind.
Jevon Simons then had a good chance to give PSV the lead when he strode onto a left-footed strike 15 yards out, but his scuffed strike was easily collected by City stopper Caleb Ansen.
Tai Abed Kassus had an even better opportunity to put his name on the scoresheet when the ball bounced to him six yards out, and he made a full connection. It may just have been a little too good, however, as it flew into the River End.
Schwartau's fellow first-teamer Kaide Gordon was next to have an attempt at opening the scoring, driving inside from the right wing but denied by some good Dutch defending.
From there the opening period petered out, Aboh's half-chance as close as either team came to taking a lead into the break. Norwich almost had one shortly after it, though, and Aboh will be disappointed he didn't find the net on his return to Norfolk.
He was the beneficiary of good work from Myles, receiving the rebound after Roy Steur pushed his low cross away. But his shot didn't have enough power on the spin, and the scores remained level.
Eindhoven captain Jesper Uneken then had a similarly good opening, volleying wide from 12 yards after some superb work by substitute Emir Bars to set him up.
Another lull in quality followed, but Aboh saw to that shortly thereafter in some style. Brad Hills headed Brandon Forbes corner back across, and the Stevenage loanee slammed home with a strike that had the diehard attendees in awe.
PSV responded well but City held firm, Ogwuru ading the icing on the cake when he tapped in from close range. Next up in the competition they face Hertha Berlin, when they'll hope to make it three group stage wins from four.
