Juventus have been drawn into a group with 2023 Champions League victors Manchester City, as well as Wydad AC and Al Ain. Inter, the other Serie A representative in the competition, have been drawn into a group with River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds and CF Monterrey.

Calvo: Club World Cup will ‘give us great visibility and sporting prestige’
Though there have been some complaints about the expansion of the Club World Cup and its timing in an already congested calendar. Calvo believes that the tournament will bring prosperity for the Bianconeri from a business perspective.
“We are convinced that it will be an important and very positive competition for Juventus, and for all its fans,” Calvo said.
“We are very happy to play in the United States, against the best clubs in the world, and we are proud to participate in a competition that will give us great visibility and sporting prestige.”
Former Juventus defender Stephan Liectsteiner was also in attendance at Thursday’s draw in Miami along with Cairo. He feels that Juventus have been drawn into one of the toughest groups in the competition, but is looking forward to the challenge.
“We were drawn against one of the favourites for the trophy, Manchester City, but in general it will be a tough round, as all the opponents are very good teams. I think it’s a great competition, it’s new and it’s all to be discovered, but the draw was also a very nice event.”
