Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle battling it out for 24-year-old Bundesliga midfielder

Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle United are chasing Felix Nmecha ahead of future windows, as the German midfielder will cost big.

According toBild, Felix Nmecha is attracting plenty of attention from the Premier League as at least three big clubs are chasing the midfielder. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are those chasing the midfielder, with Borussia Dortmund likely to charge a huge sum to sell the German international.

Felix Nmecha was considered a flop signing when Borussia Dortmund paid around £25 million to get him from Wolfsburg last year. He barely managed to convince anyone of his qualities, as some even saw him as a bad investment, until this season.

Nuri Sahin has managed to unlock the 24-year-old Bundesliga midfielder’s potential and now he has become an integral part of this Dortmund side. However, their experience together could be shortlived, as a host of Premier League sides are making their interest known in the German international.

Manchester United are among those showing interest, as they have been linked with a host of players since the appointment of Ruben Amorim at the helm. A midfielder has been on the club’s agenda for a long time, and while they did sign Manuel Ugarte in the summer, a different profile could still be needed, asCasemiro could be shown the exit door in the near future.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United are also keeping close tabs on the 24-year-old Bundesliga midfielder, as they could enter the market in the future for a new midfielder. The future of Bruno Fuimaraes could come into some doubt later, asManchester City are heavily interested in the Brazilian, and Nmecha could be seen as a viable replacement for him.

Dortmund will demand big for Nmecha

Apart from those two clubs, Chelsea are also in the mix, as they could re-enter the market to further strengthen the midfield. They are possibly the only side that may not need a player of Nmecha’s quality, but the Blues have shown enough ambition to make them a firm contender for top talents.

However, Borussia Dortmund will not let go of Nmecha on the cheap, as they will not look to make a significant profit on their investment in the midfielder. While, a move to the Premier League might entice the 24-year-old Bundesliga midfielder, clubs will have to pay a high price to get their hands on the player seen as a solid acquisition.
