On Sunday,L’Équipe reported that Paris Saint-Germain had initiated discussions with Mohamed Salah’s representatives, suggesting the 32-year-old might now be more open to a move to the Ligue 1 club. This sparked fresh transfer rumors.
However, PSG quickly dismissed the claims. A club source told the French outlet, “It’s not true.”The report also speculated thatthe rumors might be a tactic by Salah to bolster his position in ongoing contract negotiations with Liverpool.
At the same time,Football Insider shared that Salah is pushing for a lucrative contract extension to stay at Anfield until 2027. The Egyptian star is reportedly seeking to add three more years to his current deal.
Despite the PSG links, Salah seems likely to remain at Liverpool. On Wednesday,TEAMtalk reported significant progress in the contract talks, with sources growing increasingly confident that an agreement will be reached soon.

It’s clear that despite recent rumors suggesting PSG had been in discussions to bring Salah into their attack, no talks have actually occurred.
“I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world,” PSG presidentNasser Al-Khelaifi told GIVE ME SPORT. “I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he’s done in the Premier League with Liverpool.
“And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool. So we never talked to him. Respect Liverpool and respect the player – he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him.”
