Here is the latest news and gossip from icchelseanews that we think all you Chelsea fans could have missed…
Emmanuel Petit has urged Mykhailo Mudryk to stop ‘wasting time’ and leave CHELSEA in the January transfer window, while also encouraging the winger to make a shock move to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Mudryk joined the club for almost £90million during last year’s January transfer window, But he’s struggled to get into his new boss’ side, with the squad boasting an incredible amount of talent in wide areas.
Maresca has frequently shown frustration with the winger on the pitch, and his performances have not warranted a start in any meaningful games as of yet and that has led to alot of speculation that he could actually leave the club on loan.
Mudryk signed in a big-money move but has failed to live upto the expectations of that massive price tag and has been somewhat of a flop at Stamford Bridge. He is on a contract at the club until 2031 and if his form doesn’t improve, the Blues may be forced to sell
Petit, now, has urged the winger to leave Stamford Bridge and still believes Mudryk can prosper in the Premier League and is confident he would thrive at Old Trafford in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system.
Petit told GamblingZone: ‘Sooner or later, Mudryk needs to make a decision. He arrived at the club two years ago and what has he done? He has not improved and he’s missing a valuable period of his career and his confidence is down.
‘He’s 23 and he’s wasting too much time already and with the new sports direction at Chelsea, I don’t think he has a future there.
‘However, I think Man United could be an excellent opportunity for him as he suits in Ruben Amorim’s formation. His 3-4-3 could see him play him inside right behind the striker at Old Trafford.’
CHELSEA MAKE JAMES DECISION
CHELSEA have made a decision over Reece James’ future amid transfer interest from the likes of Barcelona, Benfica and Real Madrid heading into the January window, reports have claimed in the media this week.
The academy graduate was named captain ahead of the 2023-24 season but went on to endure a frustrating campaign, with injuries restricting him to just 11 appearances in all competitions.
This season has been any better and many Blues fans are wondering what will happen with James, as the defender will no longer be first choice when he is fully fit and playing on a weekly basis.
Real Madrid were heavily linked with a move for the defender during the summer window, but in the end a move never happened as the club opted to keep hold of James as Madrid did not want to pay the massive fee it would take to get a deal done.
Barcelona, Madrid and Benfica have all been linked with a move for the defender, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are not considering any offers for James and they have ruled out a possible sale.

There will be some big changes for the club in the January window and we are fully expecting the new boss to shake things up – but we are sure that James will be kept in the January window and we are glad that he will be kept
OSIMHEN MAKES JANUARY DECISION
CHELSEA transfer targetVictor Osimhen is determined to see the season through with Galatasaray – but hopes to put himself in the shop window for Premier League clubs with his performances across the campaign.
The 25-year-old Nigeria striker has hit the ground running in Turkey after completing a season-long loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray in September, scoring nine goals in his opening 11 games in all competitions.
There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media we are still interested in getting a deal done for a new striker in the January window, despite their great start to the new season, and Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
But transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Osimhen has no interest in departing Galatasaray midway through the season and does not even want to speak with other teams at this stage.
‘First of all, Osimhen wants to finish the season at Galatasaray. He is very happy to be there and doesn’t want to talk about other clubs,’ Di Marzio told bettingexpert.com.
‘He wants to play and win there.
‘I will leave a small percentage for Galatasaray to try to buy him and I will discuss with Napoli to find an agreement.”
‘It would probably be less than the release clause, but Galatasaray are so happy with him that they plan to find a solution with Napoli.’
