Report outlines another summer option for Kevin De Bruyne amid contract uncertainty at Man City

Manchester City have numerous players at the club whose contracts are set to expire within the next two years.

One of those players is Kevin De Bruyne, who could leave the Etihad Stadium as a free agent at the end of the season unless he signs a contract extension before then.

Last month, it was reported that De Bruyne has three options on the table in regard to his future.

Specifically, those three options include extending his contract at City for another year, moving to an MLS club or joining a side in the Saudi Pro League.

Now – however – a fourth option has come to light for the 33-year-old to consider ahead of the expiration of his current deal at the Manchester club.

The CFG owns clubs in Europe such as Girona in Spain, Lommel in Belgium, Troyes in France and Palermo in Italy.

Then across North and South America as well as Australia and Asia, the CFG have various other clubs such as the likes of New York City and Melbourne City.

De Bruyne has a big decision to make about his future

Having been at the Manchester club since 2015, the midfielder has scored 104 goals, delivered 171 assists and picked up a multitude of trophies across 394 appearances in all competitions.

Making his first start since he picked up an injury in September, the Belgian scored a goal and delivered an assist in City’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

This highlighted how effective De Bruyne can be for the Blues.

Taking all of that on board, the added option of potentially moving to another CFG club will undoubtedly make his all-important decision even tougher to make.

However, for the time being until he can start negotiating with potential clubs in January onwards, De Bruyne’s only thought will be on playing as much as he can and getting as many positive results with Pep Guardiola’s side.
