According to a recent report from Real Madrid Confidential, the Los Blancos are keeping an eye on Bournemouth’s rising star, Milos Kerkez, as they search for solutions to strengthen their left-back position.
The Hungarian, only 21 years old, has been making waves in his debut Premier League season, showcasing his talent in both attacking and defensive roles.
With one goal and two assists in just 13 appearances, Kerkez has become a standout player, attracting attention from clubs like Manchester United.
Real Madrid are looking for a left-back
The need for reinforcements at left-back is pressing for Real Madrid. Alphonso Davies remains the club’s top target, but negotiations for the Bayern Munich star are proving increasingly difficult.
This has led the Madrid hierarchy to explore alternative options, and Kerkez has emerged as a promising candidate. His performances, coupled with his potential for growth, make him an appealing choice for the Spanish giants.
This season, Real Madrid have struggled to find consistency in the left-back role. Fran Garcia, brought back in 2023 to bolster the position, has yet to fully convince Carlo Ancelotti.

There is one more option
Another potential solution could be the return of Miguel Gutierrez. The 23-year-old, now thriving at Girona, has impressed in La Liga and could be brought back for just €8 million, thanks to a buyback clause.
His return would provide Madrid with a cost-effective option to strengthen their defence.
Meanwhile, Kerkez’s appeal goes beyond his current form. Already capped 21 times by Hungary, he brings international experience and has proven himself in competitive leagues like the Eredivisie and the Premier League.
Bournemouth signed him from AZ Alkmaar for just over €15 million, and his contract runs until 2028.
While his rising market value makes a transfer challenging, Real Madrid have the resources to make a move if they decide he is the right fit.
