Everton created a bit of breathing space this week with their emphatic victory over Wolves in the Premier League.
The pressure has certainly been mounting on Sean Dyche and his side over recent weeks with Everton not exactly enjoying a convincing start to the season.
But the win on Wednesday night provided the Toffees with a five-point cushion on the bottom three.
By no means can they now relax with a big month ahead for the club as The Friedkin Group close in on their Everton takeover.
With the American businessman expected to have the keys to Goodison by the end of the month, the January transfer window could provide a big opportunity for Everton.
After well over a year of takeover speculation, The Friedkin’s could now land another blow on John Textor following his failed move to buy the club.

Everton eyeing January move for Lyon’s Maxence Caqueret
According to GiveMeSport, Everton have set their sights on a possible January swoop for the Lyon midfielder Maxence Caqueret.

The French side – owned by Textor – have found themselves in a real financial mess with the threat of relegation on the cards.
With this in mind, Everton are eyeing Caqueret as a potential option to bolster their midfield in January with Lyon possibly being forced into taking ‘cut-price’ deals.
The Toffees are not the only side who are showing an interest in the 24-year-old, with Crystal Palace also having the midfielder on their radar.
Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam remains sidelined through injury, which could force the Toffees into the market in January.
Everton could land another blow on John Textor
The Lyon owner has taken some real setbacks over recent months with Textor sharing how close he came to buying Everton.
However, the financial issues at Lyon could see the Ligue 1 side forced into some sales over the coming weeks to retain their spot in the top fight.
Potentially losing Caqueret could mark a significant blow for Lyon with the midfielder becoming a regular feature in their starting XI.
Everton could launch a bargain move for Orel Mangala who only joined the Toffees over the summer on a season-long loan.
Considering Textor spoke so publicly about buying Everton, the past few months have turned out to be a real rollercoaster for the American.
