Liverpool have another big away day to contend with on Saturday as they face Everton in the Merseyside Derby.
The Reds could have done with getting a win over the line at Newcastle on Wednesday, but had to make do with a draw instead.
The dropped points mean that Liverpool will be slightly nervous of giving up more ground to the Premier League’s chasing pack.
And while they do have a good record against Everton generally, they have often found the going tough at Goodison Park.
Jurgen Klopp won only twice on the ground in eight visits, and Arne Slot will be hopeful of getting his derby record as Liverpool head coach off to a better start.
Ahead of the lunchtime kick-off, Paul Merson has given his prediction for the score.

Paul Merson backs Liverpool win
Liverpool’s fixtures have been tough heading all the way back to October.
But while no game is particularly easy in the Premier League, Saturday’s clash with Everton was generally seen as they end of an especially punishing run for the Reds.

If they could come out of it with three points, they should be absolutely delighted with their work. And writing for Sportskeeda, Merson has backed Liverpool to assert their dominance over their neighbours and win the game.
“The Everton fans always make it difficult for them. But it helps that Everton beat Wolves quite comfortably in the last game,” says the former Arsenal midfielder.

“Everton will now turn up thinking they have a chance and have a swing at Liverpool. This will help Arne Slot’s team pick them apart in my opinion.
“Everton must score first if they want a result in this game and the only way they can do that is through a set-piece in my opinion. I can’t see them troubling Liverpool otherwise and I expect the visitors to secure all three points at Goodison Park. 2-0.”
Team news for Liverpool vs Everton
For the first time in a little while, the Liverpool squad looked tired against Newcastle on Wednesday.
The likes of Ryan Gravenberch in particular really appeared in need of a rest.
But Gravenberch is unlikely to get it on Saturday. Alexis Mac Allister is suspended for the Merseyside Derby, meaning the Dutchman is certainly needed again.
Elsewhere, there is hope that Federico Chiesa can return, while Alisson Becker is expected to sit out for perhaps the final time.
For Everton, James Garner is a doubt, while Tim Iroegbunam and Youssef Chermiti are set to miss out, too.
